Kripa Joshi

Kripa is an illustrator and comic artist, best known as the creator of Miss Moti, a body-positive character celebrated for her vivid imagination, warmth, and life-affirming outlook. Her Miss Moti-vation series appears as a regular column in Nepali Times. She has contributed to several anthologies that highlight women’s voices and social issues, including The Inking Woman, The Bystander, and Draw the Line. She has also co-created a toolkit on sexual and reproductive health rights in Nepal. Her work has been featured by BBC Woman’s Hour, The Guardian, Femina, WOW Festival, the London Transport Museum, and the House of Illustration. Kripa is a Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York. Born in Nepal, she now lives in Surrey, UK, with her husband and two daughters.
