March 08 is a special day as it is, you guessed it right, International Women’s Day!

We never need a special day to celebrate anything and everything women do! But it definitely doesn’t hurt to share and talk about our female authors who have written some insightful, impactful, and powerful books that will heal you, inspire you, and guide you to be on the path towards healing, forgiveness, strength, and self-motivation.

Louise L. Hay is an American motivational author. What started as a little blue book with suggestions to help people cope with ailments, developed into this book which has been applauded the world over. Louise also authored You Can Heal Your Heart, All Is Well and You Can Create An Exceptional Life. There is also a movie about the author, capturing her exceptional thought process and the story behind it.

Sumaa Tekur is a writer and editor with stints in publications like The Times of India, Deccan Herald, Femina, and DNA. She holds two master’s degrees in journalism and was awarded the Commonwealth Press Union Fellowship in 2005. Sumaa lives in Bengaluru with her books, paints and canvases, lamps, and drums. Her solitude is shared only with the mango tree next to her window, her stable, all-weather companion. This is her second book
