Lakshmi Narayan began her career in journalism with The Times of India group. She went on to become the editor of Flair and Eve’s Weekly and worked in Dubai and Singapore as a journalist before returning to India. Her book Bonsai Kitten received critical acclaim and was long-listed for prestigious literary awards in India and abroad.

She lives in Mumbai with her husband Arun, a retired banker, and her two gorgeous rescued dogs, Donna and Tiger, who rule her completely.
