Educated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA, Ramesh Bijlani went on to become the Professor and Head of the Department
of Physiology at AIIMS. After he established a mind-body medicine facility at AIIMS in the year 2000, he came in
contact with many persons having physical symptoms, the underlying cause of which was mental distress. He started
counseling them using a psycho-spiritual approach. He is a prolific writer, with 14 published books to his credit.
Currently, he stays and works at Sri Aurobindo Ashram – Delhi Branch.
